Clinical
Dr. DeRight regularly performs neuropsychological evaluations for individuals referred by their doctor for questions related to memory, language, thinking speed, spatial abilities, attention, problem solving, and mood disorders. These include evaluations for conditions such as concussion, epilepsy, stroke, dementia, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, depression, anxiety, ADHD, and learning disability.
Forensic
Dr. DeRight also performs evaluations in the civil and criminal forensic contexts, including personal injury, worker’s compensation, testamentary capacity, competency to stand trial, sanity at the time of the offense, mitigation, and differential diagnosis. In addition to serving as an expert witness, Dr. DeRight also serves teaching expert for jury trials in order to explain relevant information about the brain, cognitive problems, and/or emotional problems in a given court proceeding.

Dr. DeRight performs Independent Medical Evaluations (IME), Fitness for Duty Evaluations, File Reviews, and other evaluations in which an independent opinion regarding a cognitive or psychological condition is sought.
