PSYPACT unites across state lines

Dr. DeRight was recently approved to practice under PSYPACT (Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact). PSYPACT allows approved providers to practice telepsychology (including fitness for duty evaluations) and temporary in-person psychology (e.g., traditional neuropsychological evaluations, IMEs, and psychological evaluations) across state boundaries.

Currently, participation in PSYPACT has been approved by the following states:

  • Arizona

  • Colorado

  • Delaware

  • Georgia

  • Illinois

  • Missouri

  • Nebraska

  • Nevada

  • New Hampshire

  • Oklahoma

  • Pennsylvania

  • Texas

  • Utah

  • Virginia *Effective 1/1/2021  

  • North Carolina *Effective 3/1/2021

Legislation to participate in PSYPACT has been made in the following states, but has not yet been approved.

  • Alabama

  • District of Columbia

  • Hawaii

  • Iowa

  • Kentucky

  • Michigan

  • Minnesota

  • New Jersey

  • Ohio

  • Rhode Island

  • Tennessee

  • Washington

  • West Virginia

This means that beginning in January 2021, Dr. DeRight will be able to see patients in Virginia, Maryland, Washington DC, Arizona, Colorado, Delaware, Georgia, Illinois, Missouri , Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Utah!

North Carolina will be effective on 03/01/2021, and other states will hopefully be soon to follow.
